PHRO swiftly responded to a measles outbreak in Taluka New Sukkur, UC Rahooja/Lal Mashaiq, where four children tragically lost their lives. Within days, PHRO coordinated with the District Commissioner and District Health Office to establish a medical camp, vaccinating 150 children and screening 400.

Key actions included dispelling harmful myths (e.g., hanging onions to ward off measles), conducting awareness sessions, and mobilizing DHO teams. The intervention prevented further fatalities and strengthened community trust in vaccination.
